| Tying Instructions |
- Attach thread behind eye and wind back to the bend.
- Dub on abdomen.
- Wind thread forward to leave a space in front of the abdomen.
- To form legs, strip one side of CDC feather, roll them into a single
strand, and tie them in at this point. Figure 8 to secure and spread CDC
fibers, and bring thread to the front of the fibers.
- Tie in the wing in front of the legs, using the tip of a CDC feather,
and secure with a couple of wraps.
- Dub on the thorax directly over the front of the wing. The thorax
should be smaller than the abdomen.
- Tie off and whip finish, and add head cement if you use it.
