Send as VFB eCard CDC Cinnamon Ant Tied by Gary Ingram Hook: Dry fly #16 - #22 Thread: Maroon or red 6/0 Body: Superfine cinnamon brown dubbing Wing: White CDC barbules or tips Tying Instructions Wrap hook shank with maroon thread. Dub rear section Wrap center with more thread to create body. Dub front section. Tie small bunch of CDC at head - should never extend over rear section. Tie off with thread head. I have had the best luck with this pattern in still or slow water. It floats medium poor - use floatant on the body, not the CDC. It is hard to see at a distance. It has two redeeming qualities - It is easy to tie, and trout seem to love it! Good fishing!
