Abdomen: Dark brown poly yarn
Hackle: Furnace rooster palmered and clipped
Tail: Moose mane

| Tying Instructions |
- Bend hook at the planned junction between the abdomen and thorax. Wrap lead wire on the rear half of th ehook shank; lacquer it.
- Tie in a glob of moose mane.
- Wrap the poly yarn to form a thick body.
- Tie in a hackle feather
- Spin a deer hair thorax.
- Palmer the hackle through the deer hair
- Whip finish
