  • Tying Instructions
I learned this pattern a couple of years ago at the FFF conclave in Livingston, Montana. I was lucky enough to get into a fly tying class on caddis flies. The scheduled instructor was unable to teach the class, however Gary LaFontaine was the substitute instructor. I was amazed at his knowledge of fly fishing, fly tying and use of materials new to me. This past year I was able to use this pattern successfully on several streams and caught lots of trout. Thank you, Gary, for holding the fly swap. I look forward to any critiques of my flies.
