  • Thread: 8/0 olive or orange
  • Wing: Dark dun turkey flats ,as a post
  • Hackle: Med dun , parachute style
  • Tail: Med dun fibettes or hackle
  • Thorax: Olive mole fur or beaver
  • Abdomen: Olive turkey biot
  • Hook: TMC 101
  • Tying Instructions
    Mount flats as a post. Return thread to rear of hook. Bind biot ,by the point, too rear of hook so as to rib up when rolled forward. Make one or two wraps of biot, let hang with hackle pliers, tie in the tail material at the thorax bind tail down as you wrap to the bend. The tail will flare at the biot wraps. Advance the thread then the biot ,as a body, forward to the thorax, tie off. Apply traditional parachute hackle, dub thorax and small area ahead of the post. Wrap hackle whip finish and cast.
