Wrap hook shank with thread for base.Tie in small bunch of stacked elk hair flat against hook shank. Dub seal fur approx quarter length of hook shank. Stack small bunch elk and tie in front of dubbed body. Remove butt ends. Repeat process for second wing. The third portion of the wing is tied in leaving the butt ends (clipped) at an angle over the eye. Wrap the hackle 2 turns in the vee formed between the wing and the butt ends.
    Fishing Tips
The giant 'travelling' sedges are famous in BC Interior lakes and occur from mid June to the end of July. When the trout are feeding on these adults, the fishing can be hot.

Cast ahead of a feeding fish and quickly strip line to imitate an insect scurrying across the surface. I prefer to fish when there is a bit of a ripple on the water.
