Head: Black or silver bead
Abdomen: Dark Olive Hare's Ear
Hook: Scud/sedge hook. Daiichi 1130. Size 12-18.
Thread: Tan 6/0

| Tying Instructions |
- Place bead on hook.
- Wrap 9 or 10 turns of lead.
- Push lead wraps forward to hook eye to secure bead.
- Tie in thread at end of lead wraps.
- Make a few wraps of thread to again secure lead wraps.
- Wrap thread back well into the hook bend.
- Dub a heavy body of Hare's Ear dubbing.
- Wrap dubbing forward to the bead.
- Wrap dubbing back to the first part of hook bend.
- Wrap dubbing forward again to the bead to make tappered body.
- Tie off thread.
