Virtual FlyBox –

Roaring Fork / Frying Pan

The Virtual FlyBox® is like having a Colorado fly fishing guide in your pocket...

but you tie the knots.

The Virtual FlyBox announced the release of its latest Colorado fly fishing application.  The iPhone application was released for the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan Rivers on March 15, 2015.

The Virtual FlyBox iPhone application is a virtual Colorado fly fishing guide designed to help Colorado fly fishermen and woman select the best flies based on their location, season and time of day.  It was created to help them have a more successful Colorado fly fishing experience.

After the user selects a location, season and time of day, the application provides a list of flies.  For each fly you will find an overview of its entomology which will help when setting up your rig. You will also find an expanded list of flies organized by entomology type.  Additionally the Virtual FlyBox and associated website provide a list of local fly fishing shops to help with your fly and equipment needs, instruction and guide services.

Fly fishermen who want to catch this App. should go to the Apple iTunes Store and enter “Roaring Fork”, or if you wish to view all the applications search for “Virtual FlyBox”. The Virtual FlyBox works on iPhones, iPads and the iPod Touch.

With over 1300 iPhone App. Store downloads, the Virtual FlyBox is a proven resource for fly fishing in Colorado.
