| Fishing Tips |
| Can be fished dry or as emerger, though when used as an emerger I trim the wing and use a piece of nylon hose as a trailing shuck instead of using a cdc tail. Aside from the 22 OBA, this is my favorite late-season olive fly on central NY creeks. (The naturals often go smaller than #26, but that's as small as I can go w/o using 7x tippet, I draw the line at 6x). |
