Wind thread to bend and dub colour of choice back to start of thorax. Tie in a pair of CDC feathers with the butts facing over the eye and tips back over the bend. Dub the thorax then bring the feathers forward as a loose wing case. Tie down with a couple of turns of thread then stand the tips upright and whip finish the head. Trim the tips to a stub wing so they flare out slightly.
