| Tying Instructions |
| I've used this diving caddis pattern successfully on Massachusetts' Deerfield River and the Farmington River in Connecticut. This is the second most productive fly I have used over the last three years. The most successful being the CDC Blue-winged olive emerger pattern. I've modified this slightly by adding a small tuft of Antron as a tag. I feel this has no detrimental effect when fishing the fly deep but adds to the fly's effectiveness if I grease the leader and fish it as an emerger, which I sometimes do. It beats changing flies when wading deep in high water.
