  • Head: 1/8" black Orvis bead
  • Thread: 6/0 olive
  • Body: Olive Hareline/brown Haretron
  • Hook: TMC 2457, size 12

    Tying Instructions
    • Put the bead on the hook and secure with thread.
    • Dub a body of 50% olive Hareline and 50% dark brown Haretron forward from the bend to the head.
    • Whip finish behind the head.
    Fishing Tips
    Can't get much simpler than that! I chose to mix in the Haretron for some sparkle allowing me to further simplify this classic fly by eliminating the rib. Happy fishing.
