| Tying Instructions |
- Tie in biots at bend
- Wrap lead to taste. I use 8-10 wraps of .025
- Tie in floss at bend
- Dub tapered body to slightly more than midpoint of shank
- Spiral floss forward ribbing the abdomen
- Tie in turkey in front of abdomen
- Tie in legs and peacock herl in front of abdomen
- Form rope with thread and herl and and wind forward to just behind eye
- Spiral hackle through herl 4-6 times
- Cut off top of hackle
- Pull turkey forward to form wing case
