  • Thread: Black 6/0
  • Legs: Black ostrich herl
  • Head: Fine and Dry dubbing white/green
  • Body: Grey antron/hare dubbing & grey ostrich herl
  • Rib: Medium oval French tinsel silver
  • Hook: Size 12 to 16 down eye nymph (Tiemco 5262)
  • Tying Instructions
    Lay down thread base and tie on tinsel and two grey ostrich. Weight fly w/lead wire. I wrap the lead with the thread and then dub on an underbody of grey antron/hare dubbing. Palmer up the ostrich herl one at a time tying off at the head. Wind the ribbing up to the head and tie off. Clip tag ends and dub a small head using white or light green dubbing. Tie in a black ostrich herl and wrap in front of the head 3 to 4 turns. Tie off and whip finish.
