Hackle: Brown palmered
Shellback: Deer Hair
Tail: Deer hair short
Body: Med Dark Olive Wool
Hook: TMC 900BL

| Tying Instructions |
- Tie in thread - 4 turns
- Tie in prepared hackle by the butt 3 turns
- Tie in 3 inches of wool wrap to bend
- Tie in Tips of stacked deer hair - 3 turns pinch-pull up.
- Pull butts of hair forward and tie over hackle - 3 turns
- Wrap thread to eye
- Trim the butts at angle with eye of hook
- Whip finish and cement at butt thread and head area
- Use thinned cement - apply with bodkin.

| Fishing Tips |
Grease the Salmon Candy and fish in the surface film.
If shellback is broken by fish teeth - fish the pattern as an emerger.
