Hear Ye Hear Ye!!

Let it be known to all and sundry that there is to be a second annual Mardi Gras Swap!!! Join the FF@ Karnival Krewe!! Hop on the float and we'll show you and throw you something mister!!!

The Rules: No rules.

But if you want a framework for your dementia think about this:

1. Drink, praise Baccus.

2. Use only the most garish shades of Purple Green and Gold
A bright Kelly Green, the color of cheap St Patrick's Day decorations
Bright Yellow or Gold, like Yo Momma's wedding ring
Screaming Purple like blood filled, engorged tissue or falling-down-drunk-day-after-bruises
No subtle shades or earthy tones allowed

3. Tie any sort of a fly, salt water, dry fly, streamer, spey, salmon, nymph, bassbug or be totally creative. It doesn't have to be fishable, just gaudy. Use some of last years Mardi Gras beads even.

4. Drink more.

5. Count the flies you have tied. Should be 12 or some multiple thereof secondary to the actual count or whether diplopia or triplopia has set in following the vigor of your efforts in 1 and 4 above.

6. Mail files and return postage and address or return envelope on or before Mardi Gras Day (Feburary 24th 1998)

7. Drink more and wait for the Krewe to throw treasure your way.

Enjoy...Sir Hilary
